It really seems that summer has gone away, without warning. From one day to another, the temperatures fell and the sun has started to get shy...
Don't get my wrong, I love fall (one of my favorite seasons), but every year, when summer draws it's last breath, I always tend to feel nostalgic. It is as if something in me dies. But, at the same time, autumn makes me euphoric, fills me with hope and loads me with a kind of energy I can't describe!
ReplyDeleteBye summer but autumn is not that bad. Anyway we had not had a "real summer" did we? You know? It was a bit frustrating. So I guess, autumn will be more than welcome and it's full of new suprises. I love changing season because I kinda get fed up afer 4 months....lol
ReplyDeleteI love fall as well but it is bittersweet to watch the transition. Our fall came on fast - we went from 28 C and needing the air conditioning on to sleep to sweaters in a day!
ReplyDeleteI had to pick all my tomatoes and bring them inside to ripen. : (
ReplyDeleteooh how sad ... for me its always the same weather ... tropical country !
ReplyDeleteHello Summer! I've missed. Sorry about your loss, but it's my gain!
ReplyDeleteHi Rosa, I have also mentioned in my recent post that I miss the summer here in CH. It's leaving us too soon.
ReplyDeleteYea, you're right...summer has come and it's gone. Horrible, right? Well, there's always next summer...

How gorgeous Rosa. I love how nature (and our food) changes with the seasons.
ReplyDeleteOh dear,
ReplyDeleteI feel that this summer is quite a short for me, I am not ready sying good bye, yet!
What a wonderful photograph Rosa!
Hi Rosa,
ReplyDeleteI think we've met before but I saw you featured in FFF from the Leftover Queen and wanted to say hello. I prefer summer than fall but we also need some rain. Lovely pictures.
Wow those are beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteThis being my first fall summer in Switzerland it was a huge shock to watch it turn into fall (I'm tempted to say winter) almost overnight. In fact as I recall, it was last week that the temperature dropped 13 degrees overnight. I couldn't believe it. It seems so, so wrong.oq

ReplyDeletebon we
bye bye summer!
ReplyDeleteLove the flower photos.

Bisous, bon dimanche!
ReplyDeleteThis is the last day of summer here... :(
ReplyDeleteI miss it already.
Love the pictures.
Blessings!
Lacy

ReplyDeleteHi Rosa, I was reading your past posts, about summer and autumn... And I can feel the autumn through your pictures, the languid light, the fresher air. Although spring is starting here, and I'm grateful of that, I miss the past summer (I was there about a month ago).
ReplyDeleteThanks for your photos, best wishes,
Marcela
