Two days ago, Fridolin got really sick (apathetic, silent, like drugged, not hungry & no energy).As he is soon 14 years old (in April) we were afraid that his illness was due to his "advanced" age and that he had something serious (kidney problems or diabetes)...
Yesterday, I had to call a home visiting veterinary (very practical).
He did two injections (cortisone and vitamin b) and prescribed antibiotics.
It seems that he had got intoxicated by something.
Now, the Fridolin we know is back.
He's active, talkative and hungry again, yippee!!!!

ma vieille Prunö ( 17,5 ans ) se fait des pauses dodo de 24 heures parfois, et repart à son train train ensuite , je ne m'inquiète pas!

How scary! I am so happy Frido is better. You never know what kitties get into. The vet once asked me if I thought my cat had got into something toxic. I said, "Of course, he could have, he's a cat. They can go anywhere!" Again, so happy for you. hugs. xoxo

Notre, enfin celui de ma fille, Gustave termine ces jours... il a 18 ans chez moi car seul dans la journée, ,il s'ennuie... alors en ce moment, il vit avec nous. beaucoup de dodos, quelques caprices pour réclamer du lait, mais bon, il a l'air de tenir le choc. J'espère que Fridolin va continuer à aller bien car en tous cas, il a l'air très jeune.

I am so happy Fridolin is feeling better. Cats seem to have rather sensitive stomachs. He looks so handsome and adorable.
Ton chat est vraiment magnifique...il me rappelle le chat que j'avais étant petite...ce sont les plus beaux.

My favorite feline buddy passed very rapidly from kidney failure a few years ago, so I understand how worried you must've been.
I'm glad your handsome guy is back to his playful-self again.
I'm very happy for Fridolin my very dear Calvin left us and I still see him around the house..Luckily Cagliostro is sleeping on my lap now helping me a bit !
I'm so sorry about Fridolin's health scare. I'm so glad he is okay and back to his old self now. I had no idea he was 14 years old...you take such good care of him, that he looks so much younger! :-)
