TWO MONTHS AGO... AND NOW
I can't believe that two months ago, it was still warm and the trees still had most of their leaves. It's incredible when you think that, now, it is freezing cold and snowing...I hope those pictures will bring you a little warmth. They were taken in the Veyrier vineyards which are situated only 8 minutes away from my building block!THEN...
From these pictures I imagine you living in a magical land! All those golden vines over the stone wall, and then the gray snowy picture. So beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBonjour Rosa,
ReplyDeleteOh My God
ReplyDeleteI was basking in the glow and warmth Rosa.....we don't need to see the last photo at all...it is a little too familiar right now...Brrrrr!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYour photos are exquisite! It is not nice here in Canada right now either. The snow is frozen solid and it is dark and dreary. The pups don't like it at all!
ReplyDeleteBises
Wow...such a drastic change in color! Beautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteGosh!!! ;) But hey, this is better for skiing...
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos! Beautiful colors that we put a little heat in the heart. (My english is correct ???)
ReplyDelete;-)
Ye, I know exactly what you mean, I started to see that my Japanese Maple turn bright orange red, and some even already shed all of the leaves. Sadly, no SNOW!
ReplyDeleteAs always, your photographs are breathtaking!
Xoxo,
Elra
Beautiful pictures! Yes, it's cold and dark just now, but think, in less than a fortnight it will be winter solstice and then days will little by little start to become longer again! :)
ReplyDeleteGreetings,
Tiina
Yep, it's that time of year...everywhere...! We're supposed to get 20+cm of snow today and tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteLove the contrast picture ... really brings home how things can change in two months!
ReplyDeleteWet snow is coming down here in Vancouver this morning. Coastal snow is almost ALWAYS wet and people here are ill prepared for driving in it when it does come. Back home, we normally get a dry snow and people and cars are ready for it.
Nice ! pictures indeed!
ReplyDeleteRosa, this looks like Colorado, I live about an hour and a half away from Breckenridge ski resort and that is where I spend most of my winter at!
Have you thought about sending these pictures to a magazine ?
It's pictures like this (and all the slush outside of course) that make me so excited for my Christmas vacation home in South Texas!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, what a change. you're last photo looks almost sci-fi. love the autumn colors up top!
ReplyDeletelol!
:)
I was looking the trees in my yard and thought the same thing today. There are a lot of lives changing around us and want us to think.

ReplyDeleteGiven your then and now photographs, I can just imagine how resplendent spring is.
ReplyDeleteC'est tellement beau et paisible.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rosa , for sharing those lovely pictures...the temperatures are dropping in our neck of the woods too.
ReplyDeleteFinally, our landscapes have some similarity! It's icy and white here, too.
ReplyDeleteWow, Switzerland is such a beautiful country. I am so glad I had an opportunity to visit. Tres magnifique!
ReplyDeleteWhoa! That's quite a change! Beautiful during both seasons. We had some snow last night!
ReplyDeleteBig difference, hnh!! And winter is beautiful in Switzerland. Would love to go back some time. Great pics.
ReplyDeleteVeyrier must be very beautiful with the vineyards in summer and I love the fall colours but we don't see snow often in Athens so I am a bit envious with the snow as well.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos, Rosa!
OMG ROSA YOUR PHOTOS ARE AMAZING! I need warmth...these pictures are uplifting... You know I could also do with some snow... cold weather without snow...whats the point? Happy Holidays x

ReplyDelete~nancy

Bises
Wow! What a difference between then and now. Spectacular photos.
ReplyDeletePaz
Love your pictures!
ReplyDeleteWinter is sad. My husband hates winter. For the simple fact that today, in Chicagoland, it was 50 degrees, and raining. Just in time for it to be a HIGH of 10 degrees tomorrow and a wind chill of -15 degrees! Nice!
Crazy. What a difference. The Fall foliage was beautiful though, lovely pictures.
