WEEKEND CAT BLOGGING #39

WCB and it's festival of cats is once again here... This week, it's Fridolin's turn to play the model.

A hungry and questioning Fridolin (aka Döfli or Rabätli) waiting for his 4 o'clock food.
You might find his way of sitting strange, but don't worry, this kangaroo foot is absolutely normal... Five years ago, our poor little Fridolin jumped out of our third floor apartment window (surely while trying to get a pigeon) and broke his leg and hip when landing on the hard street floor! He had to get hospitalized, operated and the veterinarian put a metallic stick in his leg. During his rehab Fridolin was a very courageous and brave kitty. He was always in good spirits and patient.
Now, he is still capable of being a perfect little monkey jumping around like a freak, but when he sits, his broken leg sticks out in an odd manner! That's why we sometimes call our little sweetheart Rabätli or Kängili (little rabbit or little kangaroo)...

You will also find this picture as well as others on the great Eat Stuff blog from Sydney, Australia where you can discover Kiri's new pictures... If you also want to participate to Weekend Cat Blogging, then just leave your blog name, URL and permalink in a comment on Clare and Casey's site.

  2. Fabienne: Thanks!

Sher: Yes, he is quite polite when he is waiting to be fed and sometimes you have to call him when the food is served, otherwise he doesn't come...
