Although seeing so many blackberries in CH, I have not tried to use them to make a dessert yet. Thanks for the links. Gotta try one day. Really a life time of baking and cooking : ) SO many things to try.

Rosa, what a great idea to show us a perfectly photographed blackberry, and supply us with two amazing recipes! We used to pick wild blackberries when I was growing up, but they tore down the meadows the bushes were in to build condos..unreal!
This is a work of art in two ways, the natural shape and beauty of the berry and your outstanding ability to capture it in photography in that beautiful light.
If there's anything more perfect, than a blackberry, I don't know about it. It's the one berry I cherish most, and the one I've seen the least this summer.
