We have one of this sign in my neighborhood as well :)
I was in Dartmoor last weed and saw Dartmoor poneys crossing the road in front of me. They are so cute!

Here, in Quebec...we get this type of sign for Deer and Moose crossings...you never know when one will sprint out on the country roads.
