In photography, the smallest thing can be a great subject. The little, human detail can become a Leitmotiv. - Henri Cartier-Bresson
The truth of the story lies in the details. - Paul Auster, The Brooklyn Follies
Years ago..when we were in France.. I think..Fontaine-De-Vaucluse.. by the water.. there was an old stone building and to the side..just as you have shown here..was a table and 2 bistro chairs:) Uncanny..It brought back the image so vividly!
Love your photos of the pretty and green countryside. So much prettier than the bare trees, brown grass and even a little dusting of snow this morning.
we sometimes forget to just empty our minds and look at the simpler things in life. I always forget to do that and often it's as if I am rediscovering things if I just take it easy and now for example look and take in your pictures Rosa.
Oh my goodness, these are so incredible and I so love each of them, especially the window with the lace curtains and the water spout . . . so much color and composition! Outstanding! Roz
Hidden treasure, indeed. I love how you see beauty everywhere, Rosa.
ReplyDeleteYou have such a great eye. Thanks.
