You captured the FÜRSTENWALD CEMETERY beautifully, Rosa! We used to visit them in Europe and loved the beauty of the old marble grave stones. CHeers, J+C
Love cemeteries, they are very peaceful and artistic places. Whenever I need to make important decisions, I always go to "visit" my grandparents at the cemetery (I live 2 mins away from it) and somehow always come back inspired and with a clearer view of what I'm looking for in life :)
A huge fan of cemeteries, we dropped by a famous cemetery in Buenos Aires called La Recoleta Cemetery and it was pretty cool to see graves of some of the most prominent Argentinian figures such as Eva Peron, Raul Alfonsin and other presidents. I love all the bird statues, they are so cute, Rosa!
I've always loved cemeteries. We used to live across the street from one and I walked through it every day. You captured the peace quite well and this cemetery looks so unique with some interesting sculptures.
Beautiful! I especially love the first photo - very moody. <3

ReplyDeletethe small statues are a perfect accompaniment to the austerity and loneliness of the place; this is a moving essay, yet with only objects visible.
